Product Designer (all genders)

München
Full-time
Permanent employee

Your Mission

EV charging is moving from a specialist topic into the everyday infrastructure of businesses, buildings, and communities. The products behind that shift need to be powerful enough for complex energy systems and simple enough for people who are not mobility or energy experts. At reev, you will shape the experience of software used by businesses, electricians, and charging operators across Europe. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to build real product experiences, not only define them from a distance.

You will own product design end to end: from understanding a problem and exploring ideas to building interfaces, validating them with users, and preparing them for implementation. As reev's go-to Product Designer, you will work closely with Product Managers, the founder, UX Research, Engineering, customers and installers to boost our products’ usability and adoption. Your design work drives business metrics and caters to the success of reev.

Own the full design process. Turn product problems into clear user experiences, flows, and interfaces that people can understand and use.

Build, do not just advise. Spend meaningful time building prototypes and high-fidelity UI, while keeping the experience grounded in real user needs.

Validate with the people who use the product. Test ideas and designs with customers and electricians, and use insights from Customer Support, Customer Success, and Sales to improve the experience.

Work directly with Engineering. Explore feasibility with engineers early, explain design intent clearly, and hand over work in a way that supports high-quality implementation.

Create consistency across the product suite. Help establish a coherent product design language across the entire product portfolio.

Make design decisions that can stand up to discussion. Use design principles, benchmarks, user evidence, and sound reasoning to explain your choices while staying open to feedback and practical compromise.

What you bring along

You are a Product Designer with a strong foundation in product design and experience working as part of a cross-functional team. You enjoy building products, exploring solutions, and refining the details that make an experience work. You are comfortable working with C-Level Management and moving from early ideas to high-quality execution.
  • You bring strong product design craft. You can move from user experience flows to detailed UI, and you care about the quality of the final interaction and interface.
  • You bring structure and ownership. You can turn open questions into clear next steps, make thoughtful trade-offs, and involve the right people at the right time.
  • You communicate and collaborate with clarity. You can explain and defend design decisions with evidence, incorporate feedback, and make thoughtful trade-offs without losing sight of the user need.
  • You enjoy cross-functional collaboration. You work well with different perspectives and turn complex product challenges into useful products.
  • You use a modern design toolkit. You have practical experience with AI-assisted design and prototyping tools such as Claude Design and Lovable, alongside Figma.
  • You have developed a strong foundation through experience in a startup, scale-up, or established software company. You can apply your design foundation in a fast-moving product environment and work effectively across different stakeholders.
Should have
  • Experience designing B2B SaaS products or other complex software products where clarity matters.
  • German language skills that help you take part in user interviews or user testing with customers and electricians.
We don't expect every box ticked. But we do expect you to care deeply, move fast, and hold yourself to a high standard. Sound like you? Let's talk.

About us

reev makes EV charging intelligent and energy management simple for more than 7,000 companies across Europe.

We work on infrastructure that Europe really needs: charging, energy, buildings, connected in one system that simply has to work for our customers. The market is fast, complex, and full of open questions. That is exactly why we are looking for people who do not wait for perfect conditions.

If you want ownership, reev is the right place for you. You get responsibility with room to make decisions. We decide, we deliver, we improve, openly, respectfully, and with a focus on what ultimately works.

We work across teams, locations, and markets, pragmatic and closely aligned. For us, responsibility means finishing things, clarifying dependencies early, asking for help when things get stuck, and sharing knowledge so others can move faster.

Diversity is not a badge for us, but a quality factor. Different perspectives improve decisions, especially when speed and complexity are high. We welcome applications regardless of gender, gender identity, age, sexual orientation, religion, political opinion, social or economic background, language, family status, appearance, disability, or chronic illness.
